Reading support for dyslexia and low vision
Read with your ears and your eyes together.
For many people the highlight matters as much as the voice. ReadLoud keeps the spoken word lit on the page, sentence tinted, with the option to dim everything but the current sentence. Fonts, size, spacing and column width are yours to set.
The OpenDyslexic font is built in. Speed goes down to half pace and up to four times, with pitch kept natural.
Synced highlighting
Word and sentence highlighting driven by measured timings, with a sync slider if your ear and eye disagree by a few milliseconds.
Focus mode
Only the current sentence stays fully visible. Everything else fades until it is read.
Reading comfort
Light, sepia, dark and black themes. Serif, sans, mono and OpenDyslexic. Text size, line height and column width.
Keyboard and lock-screen control
Space to play, arrows to skip and change speed, lock-screen buttons on phones. No mouse needed.
